Child Safety Seats and Booster Requirements
Legal Requirements
By law in Lithuania, safety seats are mandatory for all children under 135 cm in height.
Availability and Restrictions
Hertz offers a range of safety seats across all locations.
- Quantity Limit: A maximum of 2 seats per vehicle is allowed.
Seat Selection by Age and Weight
We provide three types of seats to accommodate your child's needs:
- Infant Seats
- Age: 0 to 12/15 months old
- Weight: Up to 13 kg
- Child Seats
- Age: 1 to 6 years old
- Weight: 13 kg to 25 kg
- Booster Seats
- Age: 6 to 11 years old
- Weight: 22 kg to 36 kg
Fees and Charges
The following rates apply to all seat types:
- Daily Fee: €9.99 (including tax).
- Maximum Fee per Rental: €99.95 (including tax).
- Loss or Damage Penalty: If the equipment is lost or not returned, a penalty fee of €350.90 (including tax) will be charged.
One-Way Rentals
One-way rentals are permitted both within and outside Lithuania. There is no additional charge for the equipment when returning the vehicle to a different location.
