Rental Deposits and Credit Card Authorizations
At the time of rental, an authorization (hold) is obtained on your credit card. Please ensure that your card has a sufficient credit limit to cover both the rental charges and the required security deposit.
Authorization Amounts
The total amount held on your card depends on the insurance coverage selected:
- With CDW (Collision Damage Waiver) and TP (Theft Protection): Total rental charges + non-waivable excess amount.
- With SC (Super Cover Protection): Total rental charges + €150.00 security deposit.
Note: An authorization is a temporary hold of funds, not a charge. The hold will be released after the vehicle is returned, subject to your bank's processing times and the final condition of the vehicle.
