At Hertz, your safety and the reliability of your vehicle are our top priorities. To keep your car running smoothly and to comply with your agreement, please follow this guide on how to handle technical maintenance and repair works.
Scheduled Technical Maintenance
Every vehicle requires regular check-ups to ensure it remains in peak condition.
- Follow the Indicators: Maintenance must be performed on time, based on the manufacturer’s recommendations or the service alerts shown on your car’s dashboard.
- Stay Proactive: Please do not wait for a breakdown—regular servicing helps prevent unexpected issues and ensures your vehicle remains under warranty.
How to Book a Service Appointment
When your vehicle is due for maintenance or if you suspect a technical fault:
- Contact Us First: Reach out to the Hertz Maintenance Department (prieziura@hertz.lt)
- Coordination: Our team will help you select the best service center and schedule a time that fits your schedule.
- No Self-Booking: To ensure all costs are covered and work is performed by certified professionals, please do not choose a service center or authorize repairs independently. All works must be pre-approved by Hertz.
Reporting Issues and Vibrations
If you notice anything unusual while driving—such as strange noises, vibrations, or a change in handling—please inform us immediately. Even small changes can indicate a need for repair, and early detection is key to road safety.
After the Repair
Once the work is completed, we recommend taking a moment to inspect the vehicle. Ensure that the issue has been resolved and the car is clean and ready for your next journey. If you notice any inconsistencies in the quality of work, let us know right away.
Odometer (Mileage) Declarations
From time to time, we may request a declaration of your vehicle's current mileage. This helps us track upcoming service intervals more accurately. When you receive such a request, please provide the data within 5 business days.
