How does the car return process work at the end of the contract?

When your full-service leasing contract comes to an end, returning the vehicle is a straightforward and transparent process.

During the official handover, our team will perform a visual and technical inspection of the vehicle to assess its overall condition.

What to expect during the inspection:

  • Visual Inspection: We will check the exterior and interior of the car for any damages, scratches, or dents that go beyond regular wear and tear.

  • Technical Inspection: We will verify the vehicle's technical state to ensure everything is functioning safely and properly.

  • Documentation: A formal handover protocol will be signed by both parties to confirm the vehicle's return condition and final mileage.

How to prepare for the vehicle return:

To make the process as smooth as possible, please ensure the following before your appointment:

  1. Clean the car: Return the vehicle clean, both inside and out, so the visual inspection can be carried out accurately.

  2. Bring all items: Make sure to return all original items provided with the car, including both sets of keys, the vehicle registration document, service books, safety kits and any seasonal tires not currently fitted.

  3. Report known damage early: If the car has any active damage covered by CASCO, please report it and have it resolved before the contract ends to avoid any unexpected settlement fees.
